The 4th of July

For the forth of July we had a lot of fun. My family came up and we all went to the zoo! It was super fun even though it was a million degrees outside. Jon tried to be like a gorilla, I came out of an egg and my sister decided to be a tortise...this will all make a lot more sense after you see the pics. After we hit up the zoo we went to a bee's baseball game. It was such a good one! Even though the bee's lost, there was still some sweet homers, a fight, some toss outs and fireworks to old school music after! This all made up for the fact that the lezbians in front of us were knoodling throughout, and the guy behind us ran his mouth about things he thought he knew the WHOLE time. But.. after all, there is nothing better than good ole American baseball and ball park dogs. YUM! Since the game went extras innings the fireworks didn't even start till midnight. So after the game we went to Village Inn to get some eats and finish off a wonderful day.

Fishin' Away

These are some random, incredibly good looking pics of Jon and I in our home made tie dye. We spent all day at the lake and caught a whopping ZERO fish. So....after some patience and eating all our red vines, we snapped some photos and headed home. Jon did however manage to sit on a rock covered in ants and get a wicked sunburn. Memories :)

The 'Great Mouse Detectives'

Hello it's been a while snce I posted anything so I'm getting back on the ball :) We are settled into our new place and all is well. I started my summer dance intensive dancing with RDT here in Salt Lake City and absolutely loving it. It's amazing! Although we've been busy we have had time to do a lot of fun thing as of late. Over the weekend we went back to good ole Ephraim to spend sometime with friends and family. The CRAZIEST thing happened. We had driven my car down from SL and were stayed the night at the Adams' house in Manti. The car was fine, but the next morning when we went to leave the vent and AC made a terrible noise anytime we tried to turn it on. After a while we could smell something terrible filling the car. Not the usual car smell like burning rubber or gas. It smelt like death! We decided to take it into the shop before driving back home with no air...and guess what they found?! Mice!....a nest full of mice..or the remnants thereof. Apparently there had been a huge nest filled with mice in the vents and other various places, and when I got in the car and cranked the air I chopped them! And.. since we waited a while we let them bake and fill the car with the foulest smell ever. So...after 2 mechanics throwing up, taking my car completely apart, and $500 later. It was fixed. So there is our bad luck story! And just for the record I really felt bad for my killing spree.
