Really liking this today.
Lately: I have been super busy with drill competitions ( 2 down, 3 to go!) being really really really sick, thank goodness I have an awesome husband who will take me off the floor to the doctor :) We have both been finishing up school (I finished a week before Jon, poor guy, but he is down to his last one come Wednesday).. and getting my Christmas shopping done. Only 2 more gifts to go. YAY! go me. I can't wait for Christmas, I am excited for the time with family, the food and the gift exchanging :) It is finally snowing here, hopefully it hangs around, its not a true Utah winter season without deadly weather. We finally had 2 minuets together and got our Christmas tree up :) and after about a week the cats stopped climbing it and now just sleep under it, this is an improvement from last year (estimated 12, 984, 397, 394, 084, 384 ornaments broken). Since everyone is going out of town we get to take the cats to my parents house for Christmas.. everyone is way excited I can tell. I will get pics up from thanksgiving asap, and am going to venture out today and take pretty pictures of the snow :)TTFN

some of this and some of that...and teeth!
My teeth are done, yes after all of the cutting, grinding, scraping and other painful words...they are DONE!! WAHOO!
The start
The breakup (taking off the old fake teeth)
The first "temps"( temporary teeth)
The sculpting (they cut my gums up..high)
The patch (gum graft from the roof of my mouth patched in front)
The hole ( where they took the chunk)
The grind (this 5 hr appointment may have well provided the soundtrack to "saw" 7)
The chord (they packed little ropes up under my gums ...and yeah it hurt)
The second "temps" (in all their abstract glory)

Jon and I also bummed down to Ephraim to see Kier perform their tube routine at the homecoming game and helped her get ready for her date saturday. She looked so classy. Look at this gorgeous hair :)

New-ness
JON GOT A NEW JOB YAY!!
He is so done with the job he is at now so great news for him! He is excited to be doing something other than giving loans. I am not 100% sure what he is doing but it is financial and is downtown with Deseret Mutual so it's better than the bank he hated. He is awesome... masters program and new job...so proud!! :)

Wonderful Thursday

This past Thursday I got to go and be a part of a wonderful time for my good friend Patricia, who passed away in September of '09. I was able to go to the Manti Temple with her mother to do her temple work.. I was also blessed to be able to stand proxy for Patricia as she was sealed to her parents. What a wonderful day and such a wonderful experience. I felt such Joy in knowing that I was able to place my hand on her parents hands as they were sealed for eternity as a family. I am so very grateful to the Rogers family for letting me be a part of this special time for them and for myself.
"...and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.."

bloggage
Time for an update:
Not bad but not great things: Things are busy, school starts in like 3 weeks, my cats are shedddddding sooo much! and.....I can't figure out how to wash my bedspread properly..that's all the stuff that't not so awesome.
Good things happening: Our new place is finally home and it is really nice to have the space & I LOVE MY POOL! I am starting to get back into a schedule which my body likes :), I found a good book to read..yes! Had a way fun time in Vegas & got the cutest jacket ever at H&M. Netflix is my new bf, yeah I love my t.v. and...... I spoke to an amazing woman today and am looking so forward to being part of something so great for someone so special to me. So very happy.
And have a wonderful engagement and bridal shoot coming up I am very excited for!!

warning: bored blogging
Alright herrrrrre it goes, Jon fell asleep at 8 and i have nearly facebooked myself to death so I've decided to blog a bit.
Updates: Jon got accepted to grad school ( I may have already mentioned it, but it's cool so restating is ok)
I am in the process of getting my teeth done, long story but they are sucky and believe it or not we are all vain and I want pretty teeth so whatever...anyways I have surgery Monday for some gum sculpting and some grafting......ouch! Apparently they take some "doner gum" from the roof of my mouth and stitch it on the front of my mouth where I need it.....so I will be eating mushed everything for a while..hooray. Feel free to recommend anything that will be better than yogurt. I am going to post some picture with some rules... A. no saying. "your teeth are fine!"... ( because I hate them and feel like some support :) ) and B. Don't make fun too long ( a little is ok you wont be able to help it)
In other bad news I stepped on a piece of glass today and poked a miserable hole in my foot, yup now I get to hobble everywhere, I super-glued it shut..that is helping..sorta.
Seriously see how far this stupid little glass "toothpick" decided to impale into my arch...you can see the blood line! ....
annnnd...... last but not least I am craving a newborn shoot, so someone have a new baby K.

Appointment 1:
2.5 hrs of grinding my old fakers off and fixing up this little stump
* note: the cool glasses were precaution for toothdust..
Appointment 1 continued:
1 hr of waiting while the Dr. made these handy dandy fake teeth for me to wear so I don't look like a hillbilly for the weekend.
* temporary teeth...these are basically just fillings shaped like teeth, not the most attractive things.
